Welcome to Wednesday Wisdom

My purpose for this blog is to share ideas for teaching math at the secondary level (grades 6 - 12).  I have learned a lot about what does and does not work in my years of teaching.  Some wisdom has come from trial and error, other wisdom has come from what I have learned from my colleagues, my administrators, even my students.  Successful teaching is a collaborative effort, and I want to use this platform to support and collaborate with math teachers who are in the trenches, putting in the day-to-day work to make their classes the best they can be for their students.  Please join me every Wednesday for a new nugget of wisdom.  I hope you will find something helpful in these offerings.
